usually just stick old/not used cards in an older motherboard that's installed in an old case. Best way to store imho :)
Other than that I just use anti static bags, but I really don't they are necessary. Just find a place that's dust free and you'll be fine.
Wow, that really sucks bananakingdom. Hope you can return one or both of those panels.
I'm really surprised that you would feel so poorly especially after tomshardware gave the L90D+ its best of february award.
I guess it all depends on what your perspecitive is and i'm guessing theirs...
Would you rather I start another thread? Why be so rude? Anyways.... It sounds like viewsonic has really cut down on the max response times, but that could all be hype. Guess I'll be checking anandtech and tom's hardware for the next few weeks :)
But the VX924 is rated at 4ms GTG (Gray-to-Gray), not black to white. So I'm thinking its average response times are going to be a hell of alot lower than the L90D+.
What do you think?
Don't you see some motion blur when playing farcry and doom3?? I know for a fact that @ 16ms there is still a very visible amount of motion blur in q3.
is there any motion blur in games with that samsung panel?
Either way I'd still vote for waiting on the VX924 to see how it compares, if its a whole lot better than it would be worth the extra $50.
I'd also be curious to know whether the 4ms difference in response time would improve gaming performance.
As I have read/experienced ghosting does not occur on most panels 16ms and below. But a visible motion blur is still very evident. I played on my friends 20.l" viewsonic 16ms panel the...
Do any of you guys experience motion blur when playing games?
I tried a friends 20.1" Viewsonic 16ms LCD this weekend and the motion blur was very very noticeable to me coming from a CRT. It has almost turned me off from buying an LCD especially when I could save alot when buying a good...
Thanks for your input guys.
The dead pixel kinda worries me since this will be my first LCD purchase, but I guess there's no way around that. Newegg's 8+ dead pixel policy seems high to me especially since Hyundai will replace it if there are 3 or more.
I've also heard that when using it...
I'm in the market for a good, not too expensive LCD monitor and have been thinking about the Hyundai L90D+. CV has it for 362.99 and NE has it for 369.99 both with free shipping so its a pretty good deal.
Do any of you out there own this monitor? If so what are your personal experiences...
