CD-Rom Drive: Which is the best?

I was wondering? which CD-Rom is the pretty good and at a reasonable price? I have a problem with the Sony 48x when recording from cd to cd, the software only recognizes it at 4x. So, I was wondering which CD-ROM drives are good? thanks

Hmmm... I had no problems with their B&M store. Actually, I did it twice in two different store and the manager their was pretty cool about it.

Yes, I was successful with the transaction. That is why I said I just installed it and my bios detects it as Lite-On.

The unit was at: $129.98 PM at Sams Club for $98.98 $98.98 -$25.00 link= $80.60 w/ tax $80.60 - $40[Pacific Digitals]= $40.60.. Also, I can confirm that this drives is a Lite-On. I just installed it and my bios recognized it as Lite-On.

I am curious? I tried calling the Staples Store and customer service guy was helping me and said they dont carry Pacific Digital(Lite-On). Will someone on this message jump in and help me out by telling me what sku # the product is? thanks alot...
