well ive got it running perfect and I hated the A8V so i guess its how you see it.
the gfx card thing is possibly because the MSI takes a lot more out of the 12V rail on the PSU so maybe your PSU wasnt beefy enough to provide enough ampage for more overclocking??
yeah it just chooses the voltage.and adds a certain percentage(which you specify) to give the toal Vcore.
e.g. if 1.5 is selected and +3.3%(i cant remember the BIOS values off hand, my s939 is down atm)
then the vcore will be 1.5+(3.3% x 1.5)=1.55V etc.
well guess what i did.i moved from sata 1 and 2 to sata 3 and 4 and flashed with the 1.23 beta as ive seen many people on the net with that.
im now sitting at 4x LDT,10.5x multi and 243HTT @ 2.55GHz prime95 stable.

yeah ive got the 1.3 already onboard, didnt realise it wasnt the first release as mobo had it already when i bought it.isnt it possible the 1.35 beta is different, often newer official BIOS releases are older than some betas.i might try it.
im havinbg a problem.with LDT at 5x i can go above...
