SOrry to bring this thread back from the grave... but I am now experiencing the exact same problem.
New Rev 1.1 GA-7VRXP, Athlon XP 1900+ retail with AS3, and a 512 stick of Samsung PC2700 DDR.
Everything powers up great but no video at all The memory LED comes on and I cant hear any beeps...
How can you tell if the memory is true samusung?
I just ordered this: http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/51pc64ddr33s.html
I hope its the good stuff you guys are talking about.
How do I connect my rear channel speakers? I know some Motherboards have the extra connetions but I am leaning towards the Gigabyte KT333 board and it sdoesnt seem to come with the extra connections?
Also I have pretty much decided to get the GigaByte over the MSI KT333 ARU and the Soyo Dragon...
someone here posted the number to call several months back, but the number is gone and I cant seem to find it by searching. Anyone have that number? I really would like to get my MS explorer optical mouse replaced but going through the web yields nothing for me.
I am trying to find out if there is a way to adjust the pause between tracks when burning an audio CD from mp3s. The pauses are ok sometimes but for trance mixes it interrups the entire flow of things. if this is possible I would appriciate the knowledge!
thank you
Maxblast will only detect hard drives on the main motherboard IDE channels in my experience
to use Fdisk you jneed to use a startup disk and from one of the prompts simply type fdisk and it will start the program
you need to make a primary partition, then an extended partition, and then separate...
Ok, heres a bit of background
I had an Athlon 700 on an abit Ka7 mobo with 128 megs crucial cas2 pc133 and a radeon 32ddr
I installed winME over win98SE and it ran fine for quite a while (3+ months)
I then got a duron 750 and an Abit KT7A-Raid, installed them fine, and ran the CPU at 980mhz...
Thermal Grease is a MUST
if you want to OC it then get some arctic silver...or at least some cheapo radio shack stuff.
you will be amazed at the difference it makes.
