I ran 3d mark... the temp is around 52 under load... that should be ok

NM guys i figured it out... just had to up my voltage to 1.75, running stable now at 3200+ =) only thing is, asus probe saying cpu temp at 45C, should i be worried?

Hey guys, i am able to run my 2500 at 3200 but whenever i try to load up windows, it restarts???!! i'm sure it's not a problem with temperature. i'm thinking it could be the PSU? i got an antec 300w. i got corsair xms3200 so it's not the ram. everything loads up fine until the windows load...

got the new ram, cleared the CMOS, still won't post.. tried lowering the FSB manually, not working... time to RMA back to newegg...

bah... haha... yeah... i guess it is about time to upgrade my ram... thanks

hey guys, need some help. my a7n8x is not posting. i put in barton 2500+ with 512 crucial pc2100 cas2.5 ram. have radeon 8500le, SB audigy 2. 300w psu. 2 cd drives, 1 hd. i don't know what could be wrong? any suggestions? is it the ram? it's not posting. also, there's a red led next to the agp...

hey guys, i just got the barton 2500+ with a7n8x. imma cool it with the alpha 8045 i have on my existing 1.4tbird. i am wondering if thermal compound is absolutely necessary on my new 2500+. i ran out of thermal compound =(. there's probaly still some residue on the heatsink. thanks for the advice!

I am planning to upgrade from a 1.4 Tbird to the 2500+ barton with the a7n8x. i am using an antec 300w psu. i was wondering if that psu would be enough to power the new system? i won't be doing any hardcore OCing. also, would it be wise to buy now? or wait till next month? thanks for the help!

Thanks for your replies, I wanted to add. Is the TBSC good for DVDs? I am interested in features like Dolby Surround, DTS, etc. Basically surround sound.
