Hi guys I have just put together my new machine with a WD 250GB SATA HD. The problem is that My Computer only shows it as 127GB.
I have installed SP1 and all the updates.
Also installed the Western Digital update from the site but still no good.
How can I fix this????
Go for the ATI card you won't be let down, with either card anyway your machine will be able to handle the next generation of games depending on your current machine.
Okay fantastic, Will incresing the Core and memory speeds to XT level decrease the life of the card. I am sure that I will be buying another one in a year or so when the new range of Ati cards get cheaper.
Anyone got any good links or information on overclocking a Hightech ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Iceq 128MB to the 9800XT standards.
I have seen quite a bit of information about how easy this is but no instructions.
Many Thanks
Anyone got any links to any sites that have guides on overclocking a P4 3.2c processor, I am using a P4P800 Deluxe "Springdale" motherboard. I posted this in the overclocking forum but it looks like no one looks at that section.
I am in England so I don't think that card will be here for a while. Just read a review in a magazine over here though called Custom PC. The reviewer said he has never been so excited about something in his life.
Okay after the your advice last time I have been out doing more research and come up with the following
Intel Pentium 4 "Northwood" 3.2GHz (800FSB) with HT Technology - Retail
£199
Asus P4C800 "Canterwood" (Socket 478) Motherboard
£104
TwinMOS 512MB DDR PC3200 CAS2.5 X2 = 1GB
£180...
Right I am going to buy a new machine in the next week or so.
So far I have come up with the following. Anyone got any comments or suggestions?
Intel Pentium 4 "Northwood" 3.2GHz (800FSB) with HT Technology - Retail (CP-030-IN)

Asus P4C800-E Deluxe "Canterwood" (Socket 478) Motherboard...
