I know I am 6 years late to the party but I came across this thread a lot when looking for T7600G comparisons. I picked up a T7600G for my older Alienware M5750 and OC'd it from 2.33 to 2.66 GHz. I ran 3dMark Vantage and compared to my older T7400 which got a CPU score of 3800.4, the OC'd T7600G...
I'm beginning to wonder if this problem is more my EVGA x58 board than all x58 boards. I plan to test my video card on my buddy's P6T SE tomorrow. If it doesn't do it on his my EVGA board is out the window!
There is a long post over on EVGA's forums about users having the same issue. One post from an EVGA rep claimed their x58 board was unable to come back from sleep because of the amount of onboard memory on the card. They have tried all sorts of combinations with no luck. I want to make this...

I got a great deal in a i7 970 which is not top dog but is NOT showing it's age in games...
Did new driver's solve this issue for you guys? As I am discovering is seems my x58 & GTX 670 have the same problem resuming from S3 sleep. People say it has to do with my EVGA mobo not being able to properly handle video cards with larger onboard memory. Just wondering if it was the same story...

On another forum there has been a lot of people complaining that with their evga x58 board and gtx 600 series card the computer will NOT resume from s3 sleep mode. I myself am having the same issue. This seems to be a known issue since April but so far there is no fix. Not sure if this...
This is a problem that MANY with a X58 & GTX 680 / 670 / and possibly 660 ti combination are having. Currently there is no solution and this does not seem to be well known. Had I known before I got my 670 I would not have upgraded.
