Yeah thanks for the suggestion mariok2006 I just didn't say anything before but I've been reading up on the monitor. I pretty much narrowed it down to a Hyundai L90D+, a SyncMaster 930B and a SynchMaster 915N. Now I just gotta find which is the best. Thanks

Well the price isn't really the issue. The whole issue I had was that I thought 19" LCDs don't support 1280x1024 natively so the image sometimes looks stretched and distorted.

I have a particular 17" LCD in mind but not sure if I should go with a 19". I recently lost my 21" CRT so 17" seems like a dramatic change for me and the fact thats its from CRT to LCD adds to it. Pretty much going to be used for gaming only and fast-paced games so I'm not even sure if the LCD...

Having a bit of a problem with the new Catalyst drivers (CATALYST Windows XP 4 .2) and I need to know how to uninstall them and use the old drivers.

Tried it... it never even gets to the CD it just runs right into bootloader even after I changed the order of booting.

sorry for my inexperience with this but can you elaborate on recovery console? I also tried to run it from start up and bootloader ends up coming up before even after I change boot configuration settings to CD-ROM first.

Eh so my attempt to run Mandrake on my newest machine was unsucessful unfortunately seems like it happened because of my graphics card. Well I installed LILO booloader on the first partition of the HDD when I was installing Mandrake. But now I want to get rid of the bootloader through winXP...

Well I tried both the ideas above and I still have no solution to my problem. I could always end up getting another 20 gb HDD. O_O Just checked newegg.com and the 20 GB hard drives are just 1 dollar less then the 40... thats a bit odd

This I know. It is a horrid OS but its not going to be my PC and I'm not going to waste my 200 to get XP Home. Its not worth it for what its going to be used for
