The housing for the iPod minis is a solid piece of aniodized aluminum (in a tube, hollowed out so it's only one piece). Very nicely done, and way more scratch-resistant than the original iPods.
I have two of the Raptor 10000 rpm SATA drives in my new pc. They're VERY fast :) Got good reviews here at AT too ... I'd hop on it if I didn't already have some :P

The bar is TrueLaunchBar, along with a stats app running under it. The stats app is called CureInfo, I believe, and it has ceased development, as it became Samuraize.
FYI, you can patch the uxthemes.dll file in XP for free (I think TGTsoft used to have a patcher, but I'm not sure if it works with SP1 or not ... there are patchers that do), and bypass stylexp.

I'm a big fan of Ephpod ... full-featured and easy to use. Development is still going, so bugs get worked out with every release. Plus, it's nice to be able to check the weather on my ipod :P
Is buying open box stuff safe? I saw a 20 gig iPod at my Bby (only 50 bucks off though, as is standard I suppose). Is there any way to tell what the reasoning was for the return? I didn't see one on the box anywhere; just the sticker with the price on it.
