Ok i have the new bios still same problem its DRIVING ME CRAZY! I even removed all power leds except the power switch and then the pled IM beginning to think its the case maybe? Im going to pop off the top its a powmax case so i know they are cheap. I dont know what to do im going to reformat...

I have a usb flash drive to flash with also, but im thinking if there was a problem with the stock bios shutting down right ALOT of people would be complaining. Im wondering if its just something simple im missing and i can fix it without a flash afterall this is just a little gift to my son...

Yes i did a fresh install but i havent flashed the bios yet. This board uses AMI bios but I have no floppy installed yet, do you know if i can use a windows flasher that is compatible (that will work) I tried winphlash for ami but it didnt work. ANYONE flashed this bios within windows yet?
