I have two Seagate Hds. One is 500 gb 16mb and one is 250 gb. 32mb. I am running Vista and have the 500 as my back up. When I access it it takes about 3-4 secs for everything to show up. I can also hear it start up and start spinning. Should superfetch affect this. Shouldnt the load time...
i have bought downloadable virus scan software before and was unable to save it to a disk. When I reinstalled Windows The disk did not work. I had to call company an get new download. So is there a specific way I should save the software to be able to burn it to a disc?
I want to purchase a downloaded version of a cyberlink product. Can I burn it to a disc after I download it? The boxed version cost more money and to purchase the extended download costs more money. I would own the product, so how do I make it mine on a disc?
Mine is a similar build to yours. Check out the parts in my sig. It is running very nice and very easy to put together. The mobo did not need to be flashed, I just put the e8400 in and installed the stock hs and fan. running awesome.
I just built a new rig (see sig) and I also added a Hauppage HVR 1800. this card does not play well with Ulead DVD or Vista 64 or 4 gigs of ram. I talked to Hauppage and they do not know when things will change. So I am looking for another card. I found this one...
already running Vista 64. The HD that has Vista 64 on it, is also 32 mb cache so it can do the job nicely over my 16 mb cache backup drive. I am thinking about this one. anyone else have a better card suggestion?

I have already instaled Vista and it doing great. If I unplug the Vista drive, can I plug in old drive and re install XP. Then when I want shut down and un plug XP and re plug Vista. Will this caise conflicts or will it be just like running two different computers in same box?
