I ordered 5 sticks and only got 4. Two qs: 1. This happen to anybody else? 2. Come to think of it, what use is the 5th stick--do some MBs have 5 slots?

So how does this provision on Google checkout affect use of rebates: "Coupons ? All Coupons are currently ineligible for use with Google Checkout"? I "assume" from fact that Buy.com itself notes the $9.95 end cost that the Google provision doesn't affect rebates. But has anyone confirmed this?

Totally concur with sgtdic--instant FF is bad, belated FF is good. See my posts couple pages back re using Opty 146 I had instant FF and nothing came up (like you I even tried it out of case to rule out shorts, different RAMs, etc.). Ended up RMAing. New board comes up great on ordinary value...

Fully configured = all hardware hooked up (HD, FD, video, etc.) I didn't even get to OS because system just showed FF and did nothing 9except fans whirring and all blue lights on). Reset switch on board wouldn't even pause fans.

Did you ever get any insights on this? I am getting FF code on my 9NPA+ Ultra with Opteron 170. It throws the code seemingly immediately on power on even when there's no RAM (which doesn't seem right??) No action on the video so can't even get to bios. I've tried with various value RAM...

Price was at $54.95 yesterday (CC Springfield VA), and store shelf price tag was even advertising the -$10 cost after rebates (each of which just need copy of UPC)..
