Is there a way (hardware or software) to use my laptop to run my main tower system-I'd like to use the laptop for basically a monitor and keyboard.(portability reasons) Thanks for any and all replies!!!

When I first boot-up the monior comes on like normal and then after POST and windows begins loading it flickers or resets just before it displays the desktop. Why oh why?? I just installed a matrox G450 dual display so maybe it may be related to this? I hope someone has seen this before...
