If you have lots of memory in your pc (like 768 or something) you could create a 256mb ramdisk partition and try to put the virtual memory in it, so you would end up with 0 virtual memory :) be warned that I never did this (though I wanted to test, as I have the proggie but not enough ram :( )

I wasn't aware my extended partition contained a logical drive inside it. At least now I can format my OS partition without having to backup nearly 30Gb of data to cds now (I had to do it once :() Thanks a lot :)

I've heard that Nero writes about 10~13mb in the end of each session, so it knows where is safe to start writing again. I've written 5 sessions in a cdr once (then the disc was full) but I guess there's no limit...of course I didn't tried to write one byte for session, maybe then you can...
