Loki is right. Accutane and other drugs stop sebum production. Drying out the surface of your skin so often (washing too often or using really irritating soap) can cause more acne.

Take it if your acne is effecting how you feel and act around other people. I took Accutane, and it probably wasn't worth it. You need to re-moisturize your lips every two hours or so by the 2nd month. Also, your skin will flake quite badly towards the end. You can get sunburned in ~10 minutes...
