are your guy's temps in easytune way off compared to coretemps? I've got my E6400 at 3.2ghz, easytune says 28c which is actually less then the case temp of 34c. maybe the numbers are reversed? coretemp says I'm at 44c

i tried that, at first it worked but once artillery dropped the sound wouldnt stop.

i do have an old Diamond MX-300 in the closest, a great card, 6 years ago.... think I should give it a go? dont know if I can get drivers for it though MX-300

I've got the gigabyte 965P DS3. In BF2 I have to set the sound to software, if I set it to hardware the artillery sounds continuously. Anyone heard of this?

changing that setting between AHCI and IDE definetly makes my IDE drives dis or appear, IDE being the one that lets me use my IDE HD and DVD drive. SATA Port0-3 Native Mode, mean anything to me? I dont see a difference.

F8 beta, the same time I set it to AHCI is right after I had the case open to install a floppy I dont know of any way the floppy would affect it. I did go back and check my IDE cables and they are seated.

any ideas what might have disabled my IDE drives? When I set the sata to AHCI did I need to change something else too or can I not run sata AHCI with IDE drives on their chain?
