I'm giving my 9800SE to my brother and I was wondering if I should get a 9800Pro or X1600Pro. They're around $95 open box on Newegg. Do you guys have any other reccomendations? I would like to keep it under $100 since I dont game that much anymore, and when I do its Battlefield and FarCry.
I'm thinking about keeping my 9800SE for a little while longer. I can't open up all of the pipelines or OC it because it overheats and freezes. So if I get a new cooler, I was thinking I could open up all of the pipelines and OC it and be able to run it stable. I was wondering what VGA cooler...
Out of these two cards, which one do you guys reccomend? I'll OC a little, but I'm not a hardcore OCer.

I need a new video card, if you cant tell by my sig specs. I'm getting a new mobo so I can get an PCI-E card. I haven't been around computer stuff for a long time so when I started looking into new video cards I was amazed by all the new stuff. I would only like to spend about $180 on a new...
I use zip ties to tie them together. I also run the cables around the motherboard and stuff any excess into my front bays.
Always be sure that the connectors and cables are clear of fans though. I had a 4 pin connector fly into a fan one day out of no where. It was totally random.
My brother has tried to OC my system in the past and he could only get it from 1.6GHz to 1.7GHz. And that was even unstable. I've searched around the web and have found people who have overclocked their 2600+ anywhere from 2.0GHz to 2.4GHz. Does the Motherboard I have OC very well, or is it the...
