    Thanks for the reply, dont know what happened there, had a really dumb moment. The PSU is of course an Enermax one (Enermax noisetaker 480W) dont know where thermaltake came from!!! Editing now whoops

    thanks much for the reply, Codecs I am using are latest klite ones, must admit the DVD player was some freeware one I downloaded to test, probably terrible. Im going to reinstall everything later somewhat more methodically, install power dvd and run some benchmarks, will then post results...
