kmmatney, I am using Core temp and TAT, both give the same reading. myocardia, I agree, it must be it, next time I reseat the heatsink I will do it outside the case. I will report here any new finding. BTW, I have a Lian Li case with 4 80mm fans, 2 intake, 2 exhaust. Thanks

I have a 4300 with a mild OC of 2.4 with the stock voltage, but it idles at 60c, under load it goes all the way to 80c in less than a minute. I have tried reseat the stock heatsink about 4 times, I put a little artic silver 3 *yes 3* instead of the original no differnce. I am planning in buying...
