Hey guys, I haven't been around much so I was wondering if there was any public knowledge as to why anandtech has been so slow as of late with reviews and articles and whatnot. Here's hoping all is well in the AT world
You'll have to excuse me but I've been out of the proverbial loop since I last bought a cpu (P3-733, which should give you a rough time frame :) ) and I remember a few overclocker friendly vendors used to list the stepping of the chips they were selling and some even sold guaranteed...
hey all, I'm having a heck of a time trying to get my server computer (running Win2k) and my client laptop (running Win XP home) to see one another. My setup has the server (which carries the 'net connection) broadcasting a wireless signal throughout my apt. via a Linksys WAP 11 access point...
yeah I considered GATech, but I didn't really want to go there for undergrad. I aim to get a nice and balanced undergrad education and then go to grad school for the MS or whatever... plus, you can't really beat Emory's 44/56 male/female population ;)
yeah I as far as I could tell WashU would be the better undergrad institution (which I forgot to specify, apologies) but Emory would be more temperate and infinitely more convenient for travel seeing as Atlanta is a hub for Delta. I'm disappointed (and a little surprise, quite frankly) to hear...
just wondering if anyone of you had any personal experience with either Emory University or Washington University (in St. Louis), if so could you post generally what you thought. I have a big decision coming up and any insight would be greatly appreciated :)
It's fine if you want to become an honest to goodness programmer. I was more interested in the theoretical aspect which is most likely why I was/am a bit disappointed with it.
weeber: yep, this is the UM in Miami, Fl. As for ascertaining whether the program suits me... I really can't answer because I don't know how the CS or physics are at other schools, therein lies my biggest problem. UM seems fine from what I've experienced in the physics dept. and not so much in...
I'm currently attending the University of Miami and as long as I stick to higher level and honors courses it can still be quite challenging. As of yet I'm still undeclared but I'm leaning towards a B.S. in CS or Physics (hopefully both). Has anybody actually transferred to a "top 20" school...
I was wondering if anyone had any insight about how severely graduate schools (or even employers, for that matter) look at the the name of the university on ones degree. As it stands now I'm doing fairly well (3.6 CGPA) with a very intensive curriculum but I can't shrug the feeling that any...
I understand that Sammy is a real person. Sammy was a conartist. However all those episode dealing with Sammy and his wife were actually Lenny and his. The best explanation of why Teddy is stringing Lenny along is because he's crooked and collects alot of money from taking out those shady...
<< Since it had a begninning, it had a Beginner. >>
and you nicely assume this was your god.
I on the other hand, believe "the Beginner" was a flatulent termite named Christopher.
