Whats the point of having a card capable of running textures on ultra without the vram to push it. I game at 1080p and have seen usage biting at the heels of 2 gb. A little future proofing never hurts and theres no point in having a card that is bottlenecked by vram.

Op not to be a downer but 20 fps with that gpu is kind of a pipe dream if anything is going on on the screen. You could consider a laptop in the $400 range used such as one of the earlier m11x. Do you have an lcd monitor or hdmi capable tv to use as a monitor? If so consider building a budget...
