Well, actually at first I thought that the spacer was bad. I used the "floppy trick" :) Then I thought the spacer is not enough, and changed it to an aluminium heatspreader (it is about 3 mm thick as the desktop processor's) and I used silver thermal paste, but the fan it still "plays" with me...

I ve got a Mega PC 651 with an 1,7 Ghz mobile Pentium IV-M in it. Without modding the CPU it runs on 1,5 volt, and 12*100 MHz. I made the "bent pint trick" to make it work on a lower voltige, to generate less heat and to be quiter. Now it works fine at 1,1 (1,08-1,09) volt. The 1,7 GHz mobile...
