LCD screens are still. if you open up a photo, the pixels will stay like they are until you open another photo. a CRT however, has to refresh the image 60 to eightyfive times per second for most monitors. that's why I can only stand watching a CRT when refresh rate is higher then 85 Hz

LOL! I really need to find a fix to the crash problem, cus I have an old 9250 around here, with a huge beefy pentium 2 HS on it and a 92mm fan, no idea how much CFM, but it crashes my comp <='( but maybe I get to overclock it pretty good to if it's got to do with the passive cooling

I'm looking for data on it, what panel? contrast ratio? response time? I can't find them on the web, and I would like to know them so I have an idea what to expect should I ever buy a new LCD monitor. seeing the TFT is LG, it should be an IPS screen, right? currently, I've got the TFT right...

Sure it aint one of these marketing tricks such as video cards apparently being HDCP-compliant for 3 years now, but still not one existing video card has a HDCP chip? one of the things I want to build a computer around is HDTV, and I want to be sure about it...

HDCP compliant, but they don't have the chip ;) I really hate intel now, since they are after this whole HDCP thing for most part. AARGH, I'm glad there is NO part in my computer intel, and I won't be buying anything INTEL in my computer wich I'm probably won't be able to buy for the next...

what what type of engine does this thing use? VASIMR or something similar? I tought ion engines are still in prototype stage, and are conventional combustion engines capeable of reaching those speeds?

my motto is: if it's too noisy, put it in a closet. so, does a 120 mm fan exist that rotates at about 5000 RPM? I know the vantec tornado series rotate at 4800 RPM, and they can get 119 CFM out of a 92 mm fan. imagine what a 120 mm fan can do at such speeds. anyway, thanks for your help, oxid.
