Because Sony is pricing their consoles in dollar and in euro but this is not the case with amd/nvidia. European standards are different much different and expenses are higher.

If a card is priced @300dollars in the us in europe you need to add at least 20% vat (360dollars=320euros) + extra expenses. GTX 1070 is priced @ 500+euros even if the rx 480 is a 350 euros card ( wich is unlikely ). The difference is at least 150euros
