I'm having mucho problems connecting diskless X-clients to either a Mandrake 8.2 or a Red Hat 7.3 server. My problem is I can't get a log in screen and I can't even get a login screen as an client with linux installed and running. I get a gray screen with the big "X" in the middle and that's...

Omnibook p-133 won't post. The screen does flicker on then right back off again and it sounds like the hard drive might have the "click of death" thing going on. Anyone have any exerience with something like this?

Perhaps the word got out that "upgrading" to XP will likely cause your system to crash or at least be incompatible with most peripherals that you already have. I'm back to WIN98se and that's where I'll stay until I see a NEED to upgrade.

LOL! Been awhile since I've seen P,T,&A but "stuck" might describe it. Need some players to liven this place up!
