short answer: the small holes keep big bugs (and large debris) out now, you're free to take some airplane snips and get rid of them. i did. doing so will usually noticeably help improve the acoustics, to boot :)

OP may not be an accomplished baker. I did a similar upgrade, from x800xt to an x1950xt, and it gave me about double the fps in most games. x1900xt is a bit of a powerhog, though. heavily depends on what OP is running, specifically psu and card slot type, then cpu.
