I have 2 Compaq P3 733s with 256MB PC-133 RAM running WIn95B, and they average ~8 hours 45 minutes per WU.
From my SETI stats page:
<Average CPU Time per work unit 8 hr 45 min 08.0 sec>
Of course I would have more WUs if I would remember to login to the PC. I had restarted both PCs yesterday...
1st!
Allright! :D
Cananda here we come! One of my PCs had stopped processing for some reason over the weekend :(, got it back up and running, so my stats should be improving a little bit. My goal is to hit 100WUs by the 19th (30 days from when I started :))
:( Couldn't get SetiQ working on the network, couldn't get SETI to accept the new WUs, didn't have much time to figure it all out. :( Assuming SETI is back, I'll start them up again Monday. All the lost CPU Cycles.... :(
Well not completely lost, I'm running RC5 on them for a friend...
Sorry, 1 more question..
The client doesn't want to work on the new unit because it keeps trying to send the results of the previous one. Should I rename the results file and then when we get connection back (or I get SetiQ to work whichever comes first) change each results file back to the...

<This morning we (CNS) were told that the repairs would be finished sometime today. Unfortunately that's not the case. The carrier has finished pulling new cable, but now LBNL has to splice the new cable into their own fiber...
Sorry for the newbie question, but I was emailed some WUs, (THANKS Robor!) and need to know how I should save/copy the WUs in order to have them processed by the SETI CLI app.
Thanks!
SMP,
Have you tried overclocking that P75? A lot of MBs have jumper settings for the 75mhz, 90, 100, and 133mhz. I have several Dell 575 PCs that were 75mhz, but are OCd to 100mhz (wow, a whopping 25mhz more! ;)) by simply setting the jumper to the 100mhz setting. They've been running fine...
I asked earlier in this thread, but maybe it got overlooked. :Q
How do I configure the SETI CLI client to get past our firewall and use the TA SETIQueue, or should I run a SETIQueue and have it go through the firewall?
I only have 2 P3 733s, 256M Ram running SETI
