I have bought the AMD cards the most but I was also really happy with a Nvidia EVGA 580 too. I changed to a R9 380 4GB Strix because the 580 was so extremely loud even after TIM change and cleaning. Had a really hard time deciding between that 380 and 960. I know the 390 maybe would be better...
