    Anyone beat Dronez?

Got that game free with hardware I bought, and I must say it's quite different than other games. It's too hard too, I can't get past that tazer thing where you have to time your jump so you don't get hit by tazers. But I have only tried it about ten times, than I quit in frustration. Has...

    Bending the pins

Yeah, I had to wait two weeks for my replacement CPU:( I had everything I needed to build my new system but I had to RMA the CPU, was a bummer having to wait so long to build my new system. I'm kinda curious to see if bending the pins causes any ill effects...if not, then if I get bent pins on...

    Bending the pins

Are you still planning on trying to use the CPU or are you going to send it back? If you do try to use it, please let me know how it goes for you. Good luck.

    Bending the pins

I was in the same situation as you, mine was an AMD Athlon XP 1.33GHz. I would definitely not recommend bending the pins so it will fit.....I'm friends with a tech guy from Staples(he actuallys knows what he's talking about, unlike some employees that work at BestBuy, Staples, etc.) and he said...

5 IDE drives in one computer....suggestions?

<< Dude, don't be such an assho!e. You didn't even say what kind of DVD you had. If it was a good brand like Toshiba or Pioneer, cdrom access speeds and mp3 ripping should be very good. >> Yes I did, look above. I said that both my CDRW and DVD drives are made by Lite-On.

5 IDE drives in one computer....suggestions?

<< hm, I don't think you understand the difference between DVDs and CDs >> And that's not being an "assho!e"?

5 IDE drives in one computer....suggestions?

<< hm, I don't think you understand the difference between DVDs and CDs. Your DVD drive won't be slower reading CDs from the same speed drives, and you won't have problems later on. >> I think you don't understand that you are a dumbass. Are you so nieve/dumb that you think that all DVD/CD...

5 IDE drives in one computer....suggestions?

The CDRW is rated at 40x and the DVD is rated at 48x(both made by Lite-On), so it's probably going to be worse if I use that to read regular CDs.....and I wouldn't use it anyway because it's not a smart idea to use it on a regular basis to read CDs because that's not what it was made for, it was...

5 IDE drives in one computer....suggestions?

<< why on earth would anyone need 3 CD drives for? >> Dude, you must have skimmed through my post.......My regular old CDROM drive mops the floor with my DVD drive, and it's rated to have 48x CD read capabilities. It takes practically twice as long to search for files on a disk, and the speed...

5 IDE drives in one computer....suggestions?

Yeah, but that's just in one week. I'm planning on buying Microsoft Encarta which is over a GB itself, and I'm having Satellite internet installed for Christmas so I'll be downloading tons of stuff since I won't be confined to crummy 56k speeds anymore:) I'd like to have my MP3s stored on the...

5 IDE drives in one computer....suggestions?

Is it possible to do this? Right now I have a DVD, CD-RW, and hard drive.........I want to slap in another hard drive and a CDROM drive as well........I've only had this system running for about a week and I already ate through 15GB of my 40GB hard drive and the DVD drive just can't measure up...

Sorry about that, I was having connection problems yesterday, the first time I post message it brought me to an error message so I did it again. Didn't think it went through, guess it did.

    Disaster overclocking Geforce3 ti200:(

And to think.....I downloaded Powerstrip this morning....I was going to use it if the overclocking utility provided by Leadtek didn't please me......I definitely found the answer to that....... Do you think messing around with Powerstrip might help things?
