I had trouble the first time I tried it too. Now it is relatively easy. Also, be sure that both ends of the cable have the wires in the same order (since there are 2 wiring guidelines).
I've just installed this the other day on my xbox and this is a great piece of software. I'm still learning how to use it to it's full potential too.
Have you gone to their page on controller options, they have a section on universal remotes

I just got my system set up and it is ready for me to put my movies onto my server. I would love to just rip my movies to iso format, but at 4.4gb each space fills up fast. I would like to convert them to avi instead as they take up a third or less space. I am using AutoGK, but at almost 2 hours...
If you just want it as a media extender, why not just get the classic xbox and do the same thing? I just bought one and followed an online tutorial to use it with xbox media center. The console only cost me $60.
I like the really clean simple look. Colors are easy on the eyes. I myself prefer small type for reading, but I can see others liking it larger. I wouldn't mind seeing the company name in a different font to make it "pop" a little on the page though.
I just picked up the game and installed it last night but didn't get a chance to try it out. Where is a good place to practice so I don't hinder my team too much in real action?
