thanks cprince, i put in a video card into the computer and enabled the CPU host clock control and that takes care of the problem.

I manually put in 266 into the FSB through enabling "CPU Host clock control" because I can not enable "O.C. FSB1066 Core 2 CPU". to enable "O.C. FSB1066 Core 2 CPU" requires a video card in the 16x pci express slot. and I am running on the intel integrated video 950 GMA.
