for the price this seems like a great deal for the bedroom. this is a nice starter tv, and in fact very comparable to my sharp purchased in 2007. the downfalls is that it is not 120hz and does not support 5:5 pulldown, meaning that there is no real cinema 24p mode (or whatever sharp calls it)...
5770 Xfire for sure. Unless you will be primarily playing Crysis, but who does that?? In most cases the Xfire 5770 will be much better than the single 5850 and likely more comparable to a single 5870 if not better. Sorry for the confusion in my post earlier. clarified it now
