    First HTPC Build

Quick update for all, I've built my HTPC and have it set up. Again, thanks to all that helped! Pictures below: I ended up also getting a right-angled PSU cable and right angled HDMI cable to try and make the case fit better in the available space. While the case still sticks out a bit...

The shelf does not reach all the way to the back of the cabinet, so I air can flow between both sections. Also, there's about 4-5cm of space above the case, and the same in terms of width, so I reckon the airflow should be acceptable.

How does this PC build look?

From a quick look through, it looks like it should all work together. Only comment is that with a high end build, why not get a Z68 based motherboard or wait for the Ivy Bridge motherboards?

Hey everyone, this is my first post on AnandTech. I'll be getting a new TV soon and plan to build a budget HPTC. While I've built a gaming PC before, this is my first SFF / HTPC build. CPU: Intel Pentium G850 £65 Motherboard: MSI H67MA-E35 £60.00 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8...
