Talcite, Nice guide, just read it. Only problem I have with the spiral wrap is the diameter. 3/8" of semi rigid plastic doesn't fit *MY* needs as well as 1/4" fabric mesh does. I also like to heatshrink everything I can.... just bought a 750/1000 heatgun that I need to play with. :) 8

I'm not familiar with the BIOS of your particular board, but have you checked to see if there is an IDE/SATA configuration screen where you can DISABLE the IDE channels?? Good Luck

Turu, your system looks fine.... as a matter of fact, your selected componenets seem to be above "par". Which brings me to this point... why VALUE ram???? If you purchased a Dodge Viper would you be using "regular" unleaded in it or do you think Premium gas is what you'd be putting in it...
