So, am I understanding this correctly in that CPG is NOT the same rebate processing company that has the El Paso, TX address? I'm waiting on two rebates from Samsung that were sent to El Paso.

If you dont want/need the TV capture functionality, you could also get the 1400 GB which is cheaper. Its the same thing only minus the TV capture.

Umm, no...the drivers on the CD are usually MUCH older than those available from the mobo maker. Get the latest from the mobo maker. They dont make new CDs every time the release a new driver. They probably make 100s of thousands at a time and usually wait until those are all used up before...

Trying setting the CDRom as the first boot device. Removing the battery doesnt always reset the bios - weird, I know but use the bios reset jumper. As as for the debug code, FF means everything is OK. I have four Epox boards...and they are all showing FF while running.

Hehe..yeah, DVD Audio is fine because it is 48K. But DTS audio is 44.1 - which gets resampled to an unplayable 48K by the Realtek chips and ALL Creative Lab cards including the A2. Ive seen all the posts about some ppl claiming the A2's can be set to output 44.1....but there hasnt been a...

Yes, stereo/AC3 works fine. The culprit is no being able to set the pass thru - since the ACL850 only does 48K - resamples everything thing like the POS Creative Labs cards. Looks like a $25 (NewEgg) Chaintech AV-710 will have to be the fix...... <grumble>

Nope. 3.57 is the same version of the drivers thats shown in the manual - and still no SPDIF OUT options. <sigh>
