Ok, thanks. That did it. My board has a jumper on it thats set to 100 mhz default fsb. << btw...how did you adjust the multiplier? Must mention if you've unlocked it or not >> I haven't unlocked anything. It's just a setting in the Iwill BIOS for this board....I can turn it all the way up...

I just recently installed an XP1700+ on a Iwill XP333-R board and I set the multiplier to 11x. It's only showing up as a 1.1 GHz processor though. When I let the board auto choose, it sets it at 1.1 GHz also.....Why is that?

Hi, I'm building a system and I'm putting an XP 1700+ retail processor in it. Now don't laugh, but this is my first time actually installing a cpu. Can someone point me to some XP Processor installation guides or give me some tips. I'm sure the manual that comes with it will tell me how to do...
