Found this thread on searching on this very subject. I'm a computer tech and just brought in one of these boards to sell. The beep is normal but VERY VERY loud. Not mildly annoying but glass shattering, dog howling, smoke detector wake the dead loud. It sounds like my UPS or my smoke alarm...
