So here's the thing, I put together the computer around last thursday. When i finally have everything together, I turn it on for the first time...
I just got back from bestbuy.
There's this samsung 171v lcd monitor, it costs $699 and it has a $100 mail in rebate so the price is down to $599.
And right next to it there's this mag innovision LT765s 17" lcd monitor, it costs $529 and it has a $130 mail in rebate so the price is down to $399...
I'm thinking of getting this Samsung 171v monitor with this ViewSonic thing so I can play my playstation 2 with it. I'm getting the LCD cos space is limited.
So what do you guys think?
Is this going to work just fine for pc games?

One is 'serial ATA' and the cheaper one is not...what's the difference?

Looks like I'll get a PC 2700 512 mb DDR then. And I don't really know if I want to spend 200 bucks on speakers...dunno about the sound card either...that santa cruz sound card looks good but it's 20 bucks more expensive then audigy gamer.
