    Hard Drive Problem

I had a particular file named vietcong.exe, and whenever I opened I browsed a folder that contained this file, my hard drive would run for 4 minutes. I ran several virus scan programs on it but it didn't return any results. So I was finally able to delete it and I haven't had that problem...

    PC-cillin Firewall Problems

I have Pc-cillin 2002, and it put about 4 GIGABYTES of data files(an example vss9afuf.001, which is 300 MB) on my hard drive. I'm assuming these are binary virus definition files, but do I really need ALL of them? Four gigs just seems ridiculas to me. Another problem, EVERY DAY pc-cillins...

I've found Nvidia's drivers crash a lot with DirectX games. The only solution I could find is using microsofts drivers....but then I can't play my open gl games!

    Inconsistant Network

The network graph is merely displaying how much data is being transfered over your network medium as a percentage of your total bandwith capability(or the capability of your actual cable). System re-boots randomly?!?!?!?

Actually the answer to your question is quite simple. Windows XP comes with an automatic re-boot "error handling system" that's a big pain in the butt. Theoretically it's supposed to re-boot your system instead of throwing one of those blue screen errrors. You can turn this auto-reboot...

I have the same problem with my surfboard modem from time to time, but not as often as you. My network "connection" would always crash every other time I left a game room at zone.com. It would also crash periodically when my dad used Kazaa. Like yours, all the lights are on and I still have...
