    HD4870/ATI Catalyst Problems?

Hi Guys, I am using Powercolor HD4870 and Catalyst drivers / software with my Dell 20" 2001FPW monitor and my 42" Sharp Aquos 1080p TV as the extended display. Monitors have different resolutions if this matters. But anyhow, recently I installed UltraMon software for dual monitors and I'm not...

    Powercolor HD4870 can't clip into ASUS P5Q Pro :(

I fit it in finally! I had to bend the plate in order to get it in... I know card was "defective" but I didn't feel like returning it to Newegg and waiting for new one when this was easily fixed

    Powercolor HD4870 can't clip into ASUS P5Q Pro :(

Locking mechanism? are you talking about the plastic rubbery thing that comes at the end of the PCie X16 slot? I took that part out. and I've tried putting it in at every single freaking angle and the smaller part (the one closer to rear of the case) of the PCI slot just doesn't go in all the...

    Powercolor HD4870 can't clip into ASUS P5Q Pro :(

Ok, the tabs on the side where the monitor plugins of the card are... the ones that go into the case's expansion do not line up with the holes in the case when I put the card in the PCIe X16 slot... the tab goes slightly above the hole when the card is lined up in the motherboard's slot... hmm...

Both my motherboard and my case have 9 holes and I've screwed my motherboard to those 9 holes on the case. Where am I supposed to put the standoffs?

    Powercolor HD4870 can't clip into ASUS P5Q Pro :(

Hey guys! This is my first time building a PC from ground up and I'm stuck at installing HD4870 into my ASUS P5Q Pro motherboard. For some reason I don't think that the HD4870 is clipping in all the way. No matter how hard I try to push the card in, the rear panel does not align the same...
