I bought one too and I have no problems with the screen. I performs the same as your describing. That is just how the unit fills the screen with light. I have a theory that this also makes the unit thinner by overlayer the light and the screen on the same plane. The e335 is ~40% thinner that...

Hi I am kind of new to this forum. I recently purchased the 8RDA+. I was thinking of that soltek board too, but all I saw were two usb ports. That doesn't even cover half the junk I got hooked up to my computer. Nice looking board though....
