When I connect the USB cable to the GPS unit, the message on the unit says : "The USB has been connected to the unit. Please follow instructions from your PC application for updating maps or software. etc.. " What application do I use in order to transfer the new 6 mil POI data to the unit?

the us48_poi file shows 193,306 kb; does this reflect that the new increased POI took?

where can I go to update the latest map software for this Magellan 3225?

I was able to find the map folder and believed I extracted the two new files to it. How can I check if I have the increased POIs in the folder?

Found the free WinRar download. Got passed the passwords, but your directions arent clear after that. Do I highlight both files and extract? Extract to what directory? Overwrite and replace what? Where is the GPS file located at or how would I find it? I only see the Magellan POI editor folder

I've downloaded the two rar files, now I can not find the FREE winrar software you mentioned. Where can I find it? It seems many sites are charging about $20 for it.
