    6800 Ultra secondary display blanks.

I have a BFG 6800 Ultra connected via DVI to a 2405FPW and a 2001FP, running at their respective native resolutions of 1920x1200 and 1600x1200. Periodically (and somewhat unpredictably) the screen on the 2001FP will flash to a blank screen that will remain for about a second. It particularly...

Smaller LCD with same stats as 2405fpw?

The 2405FPW is an amazing monitor. I just got mine last week to replace a 2001FP as my primary display, and I wish I had done it sooner. I was very happy with my 2001FP, but the 2405FPW is just ... gigantic. I went from running the 2001FP + 1800FP to 2405FPW + 2001FP (rotated 90 degrees) and...

    dual 20" or single 24"

For what it's worth, I went from 2001FP+1800FP to 2405FPW + 2001FP. The 2405FPW is absolutely stunning. I think if I had to choose between two of them and a single 2405FPW, I'd get the 2405FPW -- it's that nice. As an aside, I agree with the poster above that said make sure your card can do...

    Maximize to grid?

Well, that was easier than I thought it would be. Sizer does exactly what I want it to do, thanks for the tip.

    Maximize to grid?

Thanks for the tip. It does part of what I want, resizing to specified sizes, but it doesn't appear to position windows. Here's an example; On my desktop, I have gridlines setup that allow me to maximize a text editor to use the full left half of the screen with two terminal windows tiled...

    Maximize to grid?

I'm looking for a solution (under XP) that will allow me to arrange windows and maximize them to a pre-defined grid, similar to the functionality in nVidia's nView, but on a laptop that has an ATI video card. Does anyone know of anthing that supports this other than the nView gridlines? I...

Buying parts for my first build.

I've got the MSI board and I've been very happy with mine so far -- granted, it's only been for a week, but it's running well for now. I'm running a 3200+ at 2.4 GHz on the MSI board and I feel like I have some headroom still.

    "LG" Computer Products

I have an LG RU52SZ30 52" rear projection LCD TV that I couldn't be happier with. Great picture in a great package. I highly recommend any of the LG TVs if you're looking at rear projection LCD or DLP TVs.
