Got the new PSU and it still does it. I've noticed the GPU temps getting over 76C too though, I dunno how hot is too hot

Well so far I've been playing games and monitoring the temps and the CPU temp gets to about 59C max, and I've seen the video card get as high as 73C

Specs are... Intel Pentium 4 3.6 Ghz 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 GeForce 6800 256MB video DVD-RW 450W PSU I think possibly I need more power, so I ended up getting a good deal on an Antec Truepower 650Watt. We'll see what happens when I get that. I'll try and get temps after work today...

It's getting to be quite an annoyance so I finally thought I would post about it. My computer has really always had this problem that it wants to randomly completely shut down and start itself back up. Like it completely loses power. I think I MIGHT have spotted the actual problem. I went into the bios and disabled the hyper threading. Now I've been running prime 95 for over a half hour now with no problems

Well I ran Prime 95, and after about 5 minutes the CPU temp got up to 60C then crashed just like it always does

It is? interesting.. the CPU temp I'm getting from either speedfan, or from the bios. The bios is showing 140F tops, right now speedfan is showing the CPU at 45C..my room is pretty hot right now though

CPU temps seem to be fine, however I did just find out that after only 10 minutes of UT2k3 the video card temp got up to 70C

All that for $850? Prices must be coming down these days.. I would go with a USB sound system myself. I've been happy with my USB surround sound.
