Need to buy a new GPU exclusively for BF3 & Skyrim

I don't play many games but I've been waiting to play these two games. I am looking at GTX560/570 and AMD 6950. I'd like to stay around $300. I currently have a 8800GT and it can't even run BF3 with low settings smoothly. Suggestions? I play at 1920x1200 res. I am OC friendly :-)

Does anyone else here have a Level 10? Man...its got a substantial price tag. But it'd be worth it if its going to last me for next 10 years or so.

    i7-2600K Enthusiast Build

The only two cases I am considering is the 800D and Thermaltake Level 10 GT. About the same price. GUYS! I am going to put this up on my solid walnut desk - Needs to be swanky looking! I'd go with the Level 10 case if it wasn't so damn expensive.

    i7-2600K Enthusiast Build

I've already got an Intel SSD. It is one of the best upgrades I've ever made. About the video card, I agree - you're right. I could get 6950. I'll be playing at 1920 res.

    i7-2600K Enthusiast Build

@mfenn: No particular reason to go for the Pro. I didn't know better. I read the review on Anandtech and adopted the recommendation. Case is huge and I like it. Overkill, but I just like the way it organizes all the cables. Thanks for the RAM suggestions. Would these be okay if I overclock...

    i7-2600K Enthusiast Build

Hey guys, I've been a silent member for a long time. Finally, its time to upgrade my existing E8400 build. I am a gamer, overclocker and an engineer :-) I've been a little rusty on the newest and the greatest, but not a total newb. At least from the CPU standpoint. So here is what I've decided...

^^ Yeah, if you're going to play RPG games then a 1300 $ laptop would handle it :) ... I have ATI 7500 ( yeah :( ) but it can handle WoW, Dungeon Siege II and other rpgs. Splinter cell is not supporting my ATI 7500 (32 MB). but yeah, I had a Sony Vaio K-17 and got tired of it due to its...

    Going to college

I would suggest a Thinkpad T42/43 line. Dells are much much cheaper than thinkpads if you like them :P. I personally love the thinkpad design. They are VERY light weight, ideal for college students. If you're going play games on it then get yourself a decent desktop. DO NOT buy a highend laptop...
