Judging from latest news reports it seems at least nvidia will launch new GPUs in like 2 months or so. Currently I play with a HD6950. Do you think it is worth waiting for the new generation? Do you think performance per dollar will become better than the current r9 290 or r9 280x?

Will this also work for the HD6000 series (and the hd6950 in particlar)? In the reviews I haven't seen anyone testing this on Skyrim. Does any of you know/have experience with the .8 drivers in Skyrim in xfire?
