I will also mention that at times on my phone I'll see it show connected to WiFi, but with an exclamation point meaning there's no internet connection on the WiFi, and then it will go away and work fine. Same thing happens at times with my streaming TV boxes after not using them for awhile it...
Definitely appreciate the help! Going to run through these to try to identify it. Since it's sporadic, would be very difficult to try only a wired connection.
I may try to swap the modem I have out with a different one to see if maybe that helps. I did check the logs for the modem and while I...

I live in a house that has 5 or 6 people all plugged into a Linksys router. I wanted to know, is there a way to limit the amount of bandwidth each user can use at one time? One person my be downloading something and using all the bandwidth, and everyone else's internet connections crawl or...
i tried hdmi running it across the floor and it looks great. If I do go hdmi, just trying to save the most money possible. I would just connect it when i need it, but i don't like the idea of plugging things in and out of my new TV. I know monoprice a lot of times is the cheapest. I just...
looks like I'd be looking at around $60. Is there a big quality difference between VGA and HDMI that I'd notice coming from the computer to the TV? I bought the 15ft dvi to HDMI cable from monoprice for around $8; I was hoping for a solution that would be around the $25 range.

I just bought a new TV and am trying to find the best connection type to connect my Computer to my TV. I have the ATI Radeon x1900 card with 2 DVI outputs on the back. The options on the TV are either Svideo, HDMI, or VGA.
At first I wanted to get a DVI to HDMI cable, but then I read that...

Just wondering if anyone knew the answer to this. It looks like for the retail edge program you have to be qualified by 11/30. What is the definition of "Qualified"? I'm just 1300 short of 12000, wondering if I should apply now and hope I get the bundle, or wait it out.
I'm not yet...

I want to try out Vista RC2 to see how it runs. Can someone reccomend a program I can use so that I can keep my current Windows XP on my Computer and have an option to pick either one when the computer starts? I know programs exist. I just wanted to try it out.
Thanks,

that fan comes with the motherboard. I saw it but it says right on it NOT to install it unless I have a passive cooler or Watercooler ONLY. You can see the sticker in that picture. Is there something else I could use? I'm thinking it could be my power supply being too hot. I have an Antec...
