I just put together a new computer with an asus A8V Deluxe and seagate 160 gb sata harddrive model #ST3160023AS it is not detecting the drive does anyone know what i can do? i have never installed a sata harddrive before so its possible i could have missed something simple.

ok i went through the setup on the Asus update CD. i guess i "fashed the bios"? but it still When i reboot, before windows loads it says something like "NO drives attached to FastTrak controller, the BIOS is not installed" But NOW it gave me an option to go into setup....
