well i finally fixed it... i had to flash a new bios and change a setting deep in windows.

i found the IRQ thing... still no luck.. i just dont get it..

it wont even go into safe mode.. and how do i view the IRQ stuff?

anybody know how to fix this?

ok ive made progress... at first my computer didnt even recognize that i had the soundcard in the computer... but it recognizes it but wont boot up with it in!! It says unknown pci device and wont boot.. i dont understand?!

yes i have try disabling my onboard sound but my computer wont even recognize that i have my x-fi sound card in my computer!

Well i just re-installed Windows XP home and now for some reason my sound doesnt work. my computer doesnt even recognize my x-fi xtrememusic and even though i have got my onboard sound drivers installed i dont get any sound out.. I dont get it. Does anyone know of a way to fix it? Please help...

Ok so ive narrowed it down to these select psu's Enhance 0560G $99 @ eWiz Enhance 5150GH $67 @ eWiz Ocz gameXstream 600w $99 @ Monarch Enermax 500w $99 @ Monarch I would like to just get the 5150GH becuase its cheapest. Im not sure how much amps it has on the 12v rail combined though...
