Can somebody please tell me the extra initialisation string for channel bundling on a D-Link DMI-128E Isdn Modem. I want speeds upto 128k but I cant get both my channels (B1 and B2) at the same time.
If you wanna have gigabit connections than CAT5 wont be useful as it only supports speeds upto 100mbps. CAT5e will support 1000mbps. So go for CAT5e if you dont wanna use fiber optic.
I guess this guy is absolutely right.
Now the only was is to telnet to the router whose ip is 63.92.153.254 and login as admin with the username and password (u will have to get it)
then redirect port 80 of the router to your PC's IP. And like my search shows that your network has one IP and 4...
Thanx for the info all you guys. Its actually going to serve as a file and print server but I wanted to try stunts on it by setting up the NNTP and IIS services and like I wanted to do a few more things. But I guess I shoould stick with novell cause if I screw up than I get a hard kick.
Thanx...
Ya I will do all that, I have to remove it from the P&G NDS tree and stuff, we also have a VSAT connection which I will have to disable. But will NT run efficiently on it. All the other workstations are windows 98.
I forgot to tell you, I am talking about the Procter & Gamble office. We have unlimited user license for all these products. And I have Snap5 it is actually Novell5 with some additional features, specially made for P&G.
But I just dont like it. I wanna change it to NT
Well it has 64mb ram, but I wanna run win nt server on that. Currently it has Novell Netware but it makes me sick and its capabilities are limited. So like will it run perfectly.
Hi ace, I tried to conect to ftp://ace.dynip.com
and like it told me connecting and than I got an empty ftp root.
Have you put any files in the ftp server? and try running you http server as that will work better.
Well, these are the differences between the two cables...
Category 5 cable can be successfully run for a distance up to 328 feet whereas CAT5e Cable can be run for a distance of 550 feet. CAT5 supports speeds upto 100mbps whereas CAT5e supports speeds upto 1000mbps(1GBps)
CAT5e has all the...
I think his problem is because of the router and not the firewall. As the router does not give him a real ip for use on the net.
So dynip might work.
When you register for dynip you get a host name like namit.dynip.com which will direct all requests on that name to your computer. Just try...
But I still think that can work. Cause the dynip client directly contacts the dynip server amd then the redirection takes place. I have a strong feeling that might work. I tried it out at my place with a router and six computers, I had dynip installed on one of the machines and when i typed in...
I fully agree with you mahem.
He has to get his pprt 80 of the router forwarded to his virtual LAN ip.
Thats his only chance.
Can one of those Static IP softwares be used.
go to http://www.dynip.com/
These people give you a static name like http://namit.dynip.com and they have a client installed...
